Tuna is a marine fish, which are fast swimmers, capable of reaching upto 70 km/h. they belong to the family Scombridae, mostly in the genus Thunnus. The tuna, unlike other fishes, can raise their body temperatures above water temperatures, which enables them to survive in cooler waters and to inhabit in wider range of ocean environment than other types of fishes. Tuna is an important commercial fish, which is in high demand all over the world for their meat and nutritious value.
