The opening ceremony of NorthEastIndia Tamchon Football Tournament. Wung United Wung (Ili pharakasang ngalei) and Muivanlai FC standing for their National Anthem. The North East Tamchon Football Trophy is held in memory of late (L) Mr. R. N. Tamchon, ACP, Delhi Police under the motto "excellence with truth and dignity'. The North East Tamchon Football Tournament is an annual Northeast Community football tournament, which caters and works for exposing the young talents of the region to the various national and international platforms. Since its inception in 2007 more than 3000 football players have participated in the tournament. The outcome of the tournament has been gratifying to say the least.
