In this video, we explore a 2,900-year-old ancient statue preserved at a Jain Mandir near the famous Eklingji Temple in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This sacred site is home to several remarkable statues of Lord Rishabhanatha (the 1st Tirthankara) and Lord Mahavira (the 24th and last Tirthankara). Jain temples are devoted to the Tirthankaras, enlightened beings who showed humanity the path to liberation, peace, and spiritual purity. Through an insightful interview with a local devotee/guide, we uncover the historical significance, artistic detail, and spiritual value of these ancient idols. The serene atmosphere, intricate stone carvings, and centuries-old traditions make this temple a true treasure of Rajasthan’s Jain heritage.
