Mona spent a major block of her time, during our holidays in Mauritius, dancing 'séga'. This is a montage of Mona dancing and having fun with her cousins in Mauriitus at different birthday parties, family and dinner parties with friends. As you can see in the pictures, her dancing skills improved quite drastically... lol We had so much fun being with our family and friends and these are memories I am to keep forever! The sega song playing is called 'Cabanné' by Jah Mike. The Sega (Pronounced Saygah) is a dance which originated from the ritual music of Madagascar and the mainland of Africa, and it is the Musical Expression of the Mauritian Way of Life: Joy, Carefree and Lively.
