Noorullah Khan speaks about Wajid Ali Shah. He says "My name is Noorullah Khan, I play Sitar and I belong to Lucknow. My teacher, my great grandfather Ustad Niyamatullah Khan who got the title of Sarkar from Hazrat Wajid Ali Shah. Our seventh generation in India is still serving Mosiki. My father Ustad Waliullah Khan his father Ustad Kokab Khan Sahab they all came from the court of Wazir Shah. When Wazir Shah came to Kolkata and the family of Tansen who was famous from Hussaini Gharana. Wazir Shah has made many favors to Lucknow."
