A documentary on Sikkim, India's youngest, perhaps smallest and one of our finest states. Sikkim represents Buddhism, monasteries and beautiful mountains just as Bhutan does. A lovely little documentary from the 1990's on Sikkim state, with a focus on Rumtek monastery above Gangtok and Pemayangtse monastery (which contains many antiques and Buddhist religious objects). Sikkim is a naturalist's dream. This footage is part of the broadcast stock footage archive of Wilderness Films India Ltd., the largest collection of HD imagery from South Asia.
