Street vendor selling sewai and other eatables during Ramzan outside Jama Masjid - Delhi. People throng Jama Masjid during Ramzan to break their fasts. Muslims also buy sewai for coming EID. Sewai is the most famous Muslim delicacy. It is the first dish Muslims serve to their guests on Eid. Earlier, sewai was made by women in the family but nowadays it is being prepared in factories. Sevai is a most important dish in every day menu. Sevai is a kid friendly dish and very easy to prepare, this is eaten during dinner as a dessert. Sweets are also an important part of Ramadan food. Sewai is an Indian vermicelli pudding made from milk, similar to Kheer. Sewai can be substituted very fine angel hair pasta or oriental vermicelli. Ingredients: ¼ lb Sewai (Indian vermicelli) 1 cup whole milk 1 cup
