Ghevar is a Rajasthani delicacy especially prepared during the festivals of Teej & Rakhi. Learn how to make/prepare Ghewar from a Rajasthani chef... Ghewar is an Indian Mithai or dessert. This Rajasthani dessert is very popular in Northern parts of India, specially savoured during Teej and Rakshabandhan festivals. It is a round mesh like fried delicacy drenched in sugar syrup and topped with sliced nuts and flavoured rabri. Making ghewar involves a technique for making its batter and the way it is poured in hot ghee. There are many varieties of Ghevar, including plain, mawa and malai ghevar. Ingredients: • 4 Cups flour • 2 Cups ghee • 4 Cups water • 1 Cup milk • 1 tbsp Almonds (chopped) • 1 tbsp Pistachios (chopped) • 1 tsp Cardamom powder • 1 tsp Saffron (soaked in milk) • 1 1/2 Cups sug
