Indian Naval Chief Robin K Dhowan speaks during International Fleet Review in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Admiral Rabinder "Robin" Kumar Dhowan PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC is the 22nd and current Chief of Naval Staff of the Indian Navy. He assumed office on 17 April 2014, succeeding Admiral D.K. Joshi. He previously served as the Vice Chief of the Naval Staff from August 2011 to April 2014. The Hon’ble President of India being the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, once in his/her term, reviews the Indian Naval (IN) Fleet as part of the ‘President’s Fleet Review’ (PFR).
