Manipuri women smartly dancing in front of the camera with their colourful traditional wear 'Phanek' in Imphal. Phanek is the ethnic wear commonly worn by the females of Manipur. Manipur Phanek is very different from other because of its unique style, design and colour. Phanek is made up of cotton, silk and other synthetic materials. Innaphis are very colorful and attractive. Females wear these to cover their upper body. These are transparent and rectangular shape. Innapi is worn with a pair of beautiful blouse. Phanek, Innaphi and Sarongs are what encompass the Manipuri style of dressing and culture.
