In the village of Anand in Gujarat, was born such Gandhian dream. It began as modest milk producers cooperative collecting about 200 milk liters a day. During the last 50years, it is transformed into a corporate story, collecting over 1million liters of milk every day and producing butter and related products under the brand name of Amul. The story of Amul has been replicated in many other parts of the country offering a model which truly emphasizes the Gandhian approach to the economy. Dr. Verghese Kurien and the Amul story. A lovely documentary examination of the Amul movement in India, led by Dr. Kurien. Manufacture of milk powder and milk products at the Gujarat Amul factory in India. Milk powder is canned and the finished cans roll down the production line for packaging and despatch.
