The flutter of hundreds of prayer flags or 'Dhar' outside a Gompa in Tibet. With the background of high and barren rocky mountains, the cold winds make the prayer flags dance to its tune. The prayer flags in different colours are also called Dhar and are seen in mostly Buddhist monasteries and Gompas. The prayer flags are of spiritual significance for the Buddhists. Prayers are imprinted on the flags with different coloured flags representing specific prayers.
