A miniature display of platform supply vessels and fast patrol vessel at 8th Defence Expo 2014. A Platform supply vessel is a ship specially designed to supply offshore oil platforms. These ships range from 20 to 100 meters in length and accomplish a variety of tasks. The primary function for most of these vessels is transportation of goods and personnel to and from offshore oil platforms and other offshore structures. Cochin Class Fast Patrol Vessels (FPV) are a series of 20 patrol boats being built by Cochin Shipyard Limited for the Indian Coast Guard. The vessels have a length of 50 m, beam of 7.6 m and draught of 4.65 m with a design speed of 33 knots.
