Grey Francolin or Partridge makes soft clucking call - Locally called Safed Teetar, in Panna

We filmed this safed teetar in the grasslands of Hinauta in Panna National Park in central India. The partridge is making the soft clucking sound that a covey makes, to stay in contact with each other. Oblivious to the camera behind it, this Grey Francolin (Francolinus pondiceranius ) looks like it is taking in the dry surroundings around it. Theses partridge are found in the drier regions of central India. Locals call it Teetar after the loud calls the birds make either singly or in groups.
