Aegle marmelos or Bengal Quince or Known as Bel locally is a fruit tree common in India and South Asia. The fruit is known for the medicinal purposes when it is raw and the pleasant aroma of its juice and cooling effect. It is rather early to see such large size unripe fruit on the tree in September itself when they are supposed to ripen with the approaching heat of the next summer!
