One has to agree that the Mizos are indeed blessed with the Midas touch. They have the knack of making something out of nothing...seen here is the proof! Several bamboo genus were also on display on Mizoram Bamboo Day in Aizawl. Bamboo is considered God-gifted green gold, found in abundance in the length and bread of Mizoram. This was observed which basically aims at harnessing the state's rich bamboo resources by promoting bamboo-based local industries. Besides local entrepreneurs, Sikkim Bamboo Mission and Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency also displayed their bamboo products on 20 stalls at the exhibition.
