Fire at Navi Mumbai Distillation Unit, Maharashtra

Viewer discretion advised due to possible graphic content. A distillation unit in Navi Mumbai was gutted in fire which broke out in the wee hours of the morning. No one was injured in the fire. The blaze started at around 4.50 AM in Welcome Laboratory at Khairane MIDC area in Navi Mumbai. As many as 13 fire tenders were pressed into service and they took over three hours to douse the flames. Reportedly the entire distillation lab has been destroyed. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
