During a location shoot, Kirron Kher talks about the film Mummy Punjabi, explaining that although the film is made in English, every sentence carries a Punjabi flavour and reflects the culture of Chandigarh. She also praises music composer Manan Bhardwaj for bringing a strong Punjabi touch to the soundtrack. Kirron describes her character as a modern Chandigarh mother who enjoys shopping, playing cards with friends, visiting discos, and balancing discipline with freedom while raising her daughter.
