India's Republic Day event takes place on 26th January each year, down Rajpath and around India Gate in New Delhi. This spectacle of all things cultural and militarily Indian, is a show of nationalistic pride and pomp, before the entire nation, with some present and many more viewing the event on television and mobile devices across the country, and indeed the world.
