Lata Mangeshkar, Indian playback singer speaks about Atal Bihari Vajpayee. She says, "I haven't met Atal Bihari Vajpayee very much and he speaks very less. Many years before he came to Sangli to inaugurate a building after my father's name but I didn't get to reach there and he felt sad, my brother was there. When I received Rajiv Gandhi award, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was there we were having food together and we were talking but I didn't feel that he was having a political conversation with me. I like to listen to his Hindi language and his thoughts even whenever he speaks I sit and listen to him carefully. I think Atal Bihari Vajpayee deserves this position of Prime Minister."
