Our heroic female Snow Leopard descends from the rockface to the Bharal kill below, and begins to partake of it. But the afternoon heat is intense at this altitude (hence our camera lens giving a mirage-like effect) and its bruising intense after the massive 400 foot fall the previous day. The Ounce walks uphill unsteadily, slipping on the slightest rocks (so out of form for a cat of this kind) and licks and eats some snow as a mouth freshener, and to down the meal. She then proceeds to sit on a patch of snow to cool herself down or then to act as a snowpack for her injured limbs. After the hunt and feed, see it walking up to the snow pack at 1:50 till it sits down at 2:10. Note that it is sitting with its right haunch taking cool pack support from the snow, to relieve the ache in its legs
