Yathra is colourful wool weaving, a pattern native of central Bhutan with deep colors. In the village of Zugney in Chumey valley, there are shops, where you can see the weavers- at-work. You may be able to see the dyeing of wool using natural dyes and other processes. Chhume in Bumthang is famous for its yathra (woolens) weaves. It is the main marketing outlet for about 240 households of 13 villages in Bumthang who depend on the sale of yathra for their livelihood.
