A group of Indian Hindu women celebrates Lathmar Holi as they beat male participants with 'Lathis' or sticks as a part of the ritual in Uttar Pradesh. Phulon Ki Holi and Lathmar Holi are celebrated days before the actual Holi in Barsana and Nandgaon near Mathura in the state of Uttar Pradesh, where thousands of Hindus and tourists congregate, each year.
