Indian designer says "Lakme India fashion Week is basically a platform for all the top designers from India to get together and show their upcoming collection to media and buyers. It's essentially a trade event where the buyers and designers can meet and maybe place orders for the upcoming season and then media gets to see the whole collection in one week."
