In the backdrop of snow capped mountains, mesmerising landscape, rugged rocks is the Tabo Monastery near Tabo Village in Spiti. A panning view of the more modern side of the monastery. The stupa stands decorated in beautiful colours and patterns inspired by Buddhism and garlands. This lies adjacent to the mud caves and worship sanctuaries which are the oldest in India. Cattle and a few humans are seen near the monastery complex.
